Announcement Text

Good day JYD Readers,

The Journal of Youth Development has published its latest issue at https://tigerprints.clemson.edu/jyd/vol18/iss3.

Articles in this issue examine critical youth engagement and community development topics within the youth development field. Explore developmental assessments in Colombia, Guatemala, and Honduras alongside nurturing staff at summer camps. Uncover trauma-informed youth sports and evidence-based mentoring approaches. Engage with virtual reality's capacity to support adolescent narratives of police encounters and strategies for diverse, equitable summertime programs. Lastly, discover social capital building in a remote Hawai‘i community. This issue also features a book review of a recent publication promoting a more holistic view of youth learning and development ecosystems.

We extend deep appreciation to the authors who selected JYD as the platform for their scholarship and to reviewers who contributed time and expertise to JYD through their service. We further acknowledge and thank NAE4-HYDP and NAA for their sponsorship and guidance.

Thanks to the JYD community and our readers and visitors for engaging with the journal as a place to explore the study and practice of youth development.
