Publication Ethics

International Yeats Studies is responsible for everything published in this journal. If the situation warrants, we will issue corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies. We steadfastly defend freedom of expression, precluding business needs or any other outside interests from compromising intellectual standards. Our editorial decisions about individual articles are based solely on the work’s academic quality, originality, and suitability for the journal.

IInternational Yeats Studiesrelies on an anonymous peer-review system that protects the identities of authors and reviewers. We regularly update our website to provide guidance for authors, and we communicate with both authors and reviewers to ensure that expectations are clear for everyone. Authors and reviewers should feel free to contact the General Editor, Rob Doggett (), if they have they have questions or concerns.

We require that all article submissions be original work, not currently submitted with another publisher, and we reserve the right to reject any work that has been published elsewhere. All material submitted to the journal will remain confidential throughout the review process.

When a submission is accepted, the editors will take all reasonable steps to ensure the quality of the material published, which may include requiring the author to make stylistic changes or to address any concerns about citations, source materials, and the like.

International Yeats Society has a zero tolerance policy with respect to plagiarism and other forms of academic dishonesty, including research misconduct.
