Summary

Watershed water quality models are effective decision support tools for understanding the impacts of land use change and best management practices (BMP) on freshwater bodies. This article gives a brief overview of selected models, including their limitations and practical applications to waterbodies in South Carolina. This information is beneficial for extension agents, land developers and water quality experts in South Carolina.
