Clemson Teaching Excellence Conference 2024: Teaching in the Age of AI

On January 9, 2024, the Clemson University units of OTEI, Libraries, Rutland Institute, CCPD, UGS, and the Watt Center, in collaboration with industry partners, hosted in hybrid modality the Teaching Excellence Conference: Teaching in the Age of AI. This conference was attended by more than 180 attendees representing all disciplines, roles, and experience levels to converge on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and teaching and learning. Keynote speaker Mitch Shue identified this moment in time as tipping point in history, he stated “AI is not only here, it is everywhere.
