Summary

One of the more challenging aspects of developing pasture and grazing land is the supply of drinking water for livestock. A solution in remote locations is the hydraulic ram pump. Home-made pumps will last for several years if not longer, and can allow a farmer to see how such a pump would work before investing in a more expensive commercial unit.
