Summary
Backpack sprayers are an effective method for forest landowners to control undesirable vegetation in and around their woodlands. Properly calibrating the sprayer prior to chemical application is necessary to ensure that the proper amount of the active ingredient is applied to successfully control or eliminate the target species without causing detrimental impacts to non-target species.
