Abstract

This creative thesis explores the genre of children's literature though a short novella. There are twenty one chapters consisting of a character arc, conflict, and resolution. The novella reflects the author's command of narrator, plot, characterization, and other important elements of fiction, as well as essential elements of children's literature. This work is submitted to show the author's proficiency in fiction and children's literature.
