Abstract
The mobile trainer will be used as a teaching aid for students in the Clemson University Agricultural Mechanization & Business major. An Ag Leader impact plate yield monitor system for a John Deere 9660/9670/9680 combine was modified and installed on a Gleaner F combine to be used in teaching undergraduate students the importance of precision agriculture technology and how yield monitoring systems work. Mass flow data logging will indicate problem areas within a field and support development of variable rate prescription maps.
