Since 1930, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted plant patents to inventors who have invented or discovered and asexually reproduced a distinct and new variety of plant. This data set contains a complete list of all of the poinsettia patents issued from 1930 – 5/1/2018. Fields include: patent number, publication date, title, inventor name, assignee, application number, filing date, and notes about the cultivars.
